Pilgrims aspire for a holy dip at the sea at Dhanushkodi, revered as Sethu Theertha where Mahodathi (Bay of Bengal) meets Ratnakara (India Ocean).(To travel to Dhanushkodi, need to use four wheel drive jeep / tempos since you have to travel on beach sand). You can also visit other famous temples located near Rameswaram - Kodandarama temple, Sethukarai Hanuman temple and Ramar Padham. Overnight stay at Rameswaram.
